About HowToken
What we do
HowToken (howtoken.net) is a directory and comparison platform focused on AI API relays. We track platforms that resell access to large model APIs from OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), xAI (Grok), and others, and organize the key details — supported models, payment methods, minimum deposit, billing multiplier — so developers can compare options side by side on a single page and find the relay that fits their needs.
Why we built this
Official large-model APIs come with real friction for a lot of developers: an internationally-billable card, a stable connection to the provider's region, and pricing and reliability that vary widely. API relays fill that gap, but there are a lot of them, information is scattered, and quality varies. We built a structured, filterable directory to cut down the time it takes to vet relays one by one.
Listing and ranking criteria
- The relay must be reachable and have clear service and billing terms;
- We record its publicly available supported models, payment methods, minimum deposit, and billing multiplier;
- The "Featured" tag reflects our overall assessment of reliability, reputation, and pricing transparency at the time of listing — it's for reference only, doesn't guarantee continued reliability, and isn't investment or purchasing advice.
How we sustain this site (full transparency)
This site is free to use for everyone. Some of the "Visit" buttons in our listings are affiliate links, and when you sign up or top up through them, we may earn a small commission from the relay. This never costs you anything extra, and it never affects which relays we list or how we rank them. That revenue covers our server, domain, and data-maintenance costs.
Submit a relay or request a correction
If you run a relay and want to be listed, or want to add or correct info on an existing listing (pricing, models, logo, etc.), reach out by email with the relay's name, URL, supported models, payment methods, and minimum deposit. We'll review and list it at our discretion — whether and how a relay is displayed is up to our own review.
